  • How do I rent equiptment?
    Renting made easy! Simply fill out our “Rental Request Form” with the designated information and a Jumping Dutchman Team Member will contact you by phone to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and get you set up with the best possible plan for your event!
  • Do I need to pay a deposit?
    A deposit is required at the time the rental agreement is signed in order to secure your rental. The deposit is 25% of the total rental fee or a $50 minimum deposit.
  • Are there any extra fees?
    If your rental costs total $120 or more and your event is within a 10 mile radius of Dyer, Indiana, there will be NO DELIVERY FEE. If the total cost of your requested rental is less than $120 or you live outside of the ten mile radius there will be a fee of $5 for each additional mile, outside of the 10 mile radius. FOR EXAMPLE: if your event is 15 miles away from Dyer, Indiana, your delivery fee would be $25. There are NO fees for set up, tear down, or cleaning equipment from normal and expected use. If any rental equipment is found to be in unacceptable condition or need extensive cleaning (i.e. Inflatables are unreasonably full of debris, evidence of food, drinks, or bodily fluids are found within Inflatables) there will be a $50 fee.
  • When should I book?
    Our Inflatables, Tents, and other party equipment are all available on a first come - first serve basis. They are generally reserved three weeks in advance, but we are willing to book as far as one year in advance.
  • What type of space do I need in order to rent Inflatables or Tents?
    When placing your reservation, please let us know what type of terrain you are interested in utilizing for set up. Different terrains require different anchoring systems so being clear and descriptive regarding set up terrain is vital. INFLATABLES: Inflatables can be set up in grass or on cement as long as the space is level/flat. Our Combo Bounce House/Slide requires a 25ft by 25ft space. It must be within 100ft of a GFCI outlet. We provide a 100ft extension cord. If you are planning on renting a WET option bounce house, the set up location must be accessible to water supply and a hose provided by the client. TENTS: Tents can only be set up in flat, grass areas due to the anchoring system. Our 20ft by 20ft Canopy Pole Tent requires a 25ft by 25ft space so that it can be properly staked for set up. This is to ensure the safety of our customers.
  • Do I need to provide any special equipment?
    INFLATABLES: Jumping Dutchman will supply a 100ft extension cord, a tarp, a blower, and safety stakes to secure to ground. You will only need to provide a standard hose capable of reaching the unit should you choose a water option. TENTS: There is no special equipment required for tent rental.
  • Are your Inflatables Clean?
    Yes they are! All of our equipment, including Inflatables, are cleaned thoroughly using a disinfecting wash after each use. They are consistently inspected to assure that they are being well maintained to offer you the absolute best quality and experience for your event.
  • Will I need to contact 8-1-1?
    Jumping Dutchman will contact 8-1-1 on your behalf if any of your rentals require stakes to anchor safely. Utility marking is no cost to you. We will NOT set up any equipment if utilities are not marked and visible and no refund will be given.
  • What if it rains?
    A little bit of rain won’t cancel the fun! However, if the local weather is calling for rain or high winds (winds at or above 15mph) a Team Member from Jumping Dutchman Rentals LLC will contact you to discuss your options for canceling or rescheduling before delivery. However, once rentals are delivered, the customer is expected to honor the agreement and no refunds will be issued. In the event of a quick or light rain, we ask that you power the inflatable ON. This will prevent the inflatable from flooding. If lightning is present, exit any and all equipment immediately.
